Oh, school scanner... how I miss thee.

SO... It's been nice putting up my work, but honestly they are all drawings I did a while ago. I am dying to put up some new work and even make a daily comic or something but I don't really have the means at the moment. How frustrating. Well until I acquire my scanner these old pics will have to do. One day I will just bombard my blog with tons of new drawings.

First foray into digital painting. Liked how it turned out but I feel that my skills still have a long way to go. And yes some female deer have antlers.

As my first sketch posting I am choosing Daryle. He is a character that I used for a senior class and I like how he is kinda surly and apathetic yet still kinda funny in his expression. When I drew him I was working in a deli so I was feeling kinda how he was feeling, or any body in the food industry for that matter.Longest description you will get for a sketch I think...

My name is Serena Yetter and I graduated from the Illinois Institute of art bleh de bleh bleh. Long story short I have a BA in media Arts and Animation.

Friend convinced me to start a blog so here I am. She figured it might help me draw and create more since I have been in such a slump. hope she is right :]

Working full time and the onslaught of bills doesn't help the creative juices but heres is to winning against all odds! Every kid my age and their mother is pretty much in this situation. Thanks Sallie M%!.
